What is Cognitive Behavioural Tharapy? What do I do? CBH

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is an evidence-based therapy that will help you with issues such as anxiety, stress, phobias, self-confidence, self-esteem, pain control, menopause, habit control, weight management, and many more.
Hypnotherapy is recognised by the British Medical Association (BMA) and categorised as a complementary medecine by the Department of Health (DoH).

CBH involves Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), used and recognised by the NHS for decades. CBT is a short therapy based on managing your issues by changing the way you think and behave. Adding hypnosis to the process will make the change faster and more powerful.

CBH will help you regain the power to change the way you respond to events with the help of various tools such as meditation, relaxation, mindfulness, self-hypnosis, and many more.
With my help you will become your “own therapist” and will be able to use these techniques at any time problems arise. Live the life YOU want and DESERVE!

What to expect in our sessions?

I have a strong desire to help people getting better in the long term and overcoming any issues they may encounter. The first session will be 1h30 long and will be the assessment where, together as a team, we will decide on a plan of action to reach your goal. You will be introduced to hypnosis too.

Any following sessions will be 1 hour in duration. I will guide you every step of the way, explaining every single technique we will be using. As a client you have a role too, but it is quite straightforward (see your role as a client). My reward will be your well-being.

What is hypnosis?

Many people have misconceptions about hypnosis, and it is completely normal.
Hypnosis is simply focused attention on suggestions given to you and using the power of your imagination.

Hypnosis is: *something YOU do.
*a SAFE technique
*a skill, the more you practise, the better you will get at it.
*Different for everyone. Some people might feel more relaxed than usual, others more focused.
*NOT being asleep or unconscious.
Anyone can be hypnotised if they wish to.
YOU will always BE IN CONTROL.

Your role as a client

Your role is quite straightforward and easy:

-show up during sessions
-be motivated and ready for a change.
-believe in your ability to make changes.
-relax, think positively, accept suggestions related to your issues
-be honest
-complete your exercises between sessions, you will reach your goal faster.

What is self hypnosis?

“All hypnosis is self-hypnosis”
As a hypnotherapist, I teach self-hypnosis to my clients. It consists of autosuggestions to achieve your goal faster. It is a valuable tool that can be used between sessions too.Self-hypnosis will change your negative self-talk for a healthier one to be able to manage your everyday life’s issues.


Self-hypnosis is used to:

-Reduce stress
-Manage anxiety
-Be mentally relaxed and focused.

However, it is a skill, and it needs PRACTICE.
